Lifetime Guarantee & How We Stand Behind Our Products
Our Commitment
At Badass Patches, we don’t believe custom products should come with fine print or an expiration date.
That’s why every custom patch and coin we produce is backed by our Lifetime Guarantee. It’s our way of standing behind the quality of our work—not just at delivery, but for the long haul.
This guarantee is a key part of how we do business and one of the reasons customers trust us for repeat orders.
What the Lifetime Guarantee Means
If a Badass Patches–made custom patch or coin fails during normal use for its intended purpose, we’ll review the issue and make it right.
Covered products:
- Custom patches
- Custom coins
Other products are not included in the Lifetime Guarantee.
The goal isn’t just replacement—it’s accountability. We take ownership of what we produce.
How to Start a Guarantee Claim
To begin a claim, customers email orders@badasspatches.com with:
- Proof of purchase (any one of the following):
- Paid invoice number
- Name associated with the order
- Email used at checkout
- A brief description of the issue
- At least two photos clearly showing the concern
A team member will respond with next steps. No hoops, no automated runaround.
What the Lifetime Guarantee Does Not Cover
To keep the guarantee fair and sustainable, it does not apply to issues caused by:
- Misuse or improper care
- Exposure to harsh conditions (washing machines, solvents, adhesives, extreme heat, etc.)
- Intentional damage
- Loss or theft
- Unauthorized modifications or alterations
- Third-party replicas or remakes
- Normal, expected aging of materials over time
If there’s ever uncertainty, we encourage customers to reach out—we’re happy to review it.
Normal Custom Manufacturing Variations
Because every item is custom-made, minor variations may occur and are not considered defects.
These may include:
- Slight color or texture differences between production runs
- Minimal thread or stitching variation
- Material finish differences within standard manufacturing tolerance
These do not affect performance or durability and are part of the custom process.
How Issues Are Resolved
If a claim qualifies under the Lifetime Guarantee, our team will review the situation and determine the most appropriate remedy, which may include:
- Product remake or replacement
- Store credit
- Refund to the original payment method
All decisions are reviewed by a senior team member to ensure consistency and fairness.
Review Timelines
- Most claims are reviewed within 3–5 business days
- Approved remedies are issued within a reasonable timeframe
Limited or Discontinued Items
If a guaranteed item is no longer available or cannot be remade, we may offer:
- Store credit, or
- A comparable product when available
Options are always communicated clearly before proceeding.
