How does Badass Patches pricing work now, especially for small orders, and is artwork still free?

Pricing & Order Process Updates

We’ve made a few updates to our pricing structure and order process to keep things simple, transparent, and consistent across all custom orders. Below is a quick breakdown of what’s changed and what you can expect when placing an order.

What’s New

  • A Small Order Setup Service now applies per design, to any design ordered in a quantity under 25 units. Free artwork remains included on every order, with no exceptions. Name tags and UV-printed numbered items are NOT subject to this charge, since only the name or number changes between units while the setup stays the same. Smaller orders also follow a more streamlined production process to keep quality and speed consistent.

Small Order Setup Service ($29)

A $29 Small Order Setup Service applies to each design ordered in a quantity under 25 units.

Because the charge is tied to the design rather than the order as a whole, an order that includes more than one design may include more than one Small Order Setup Service, one per qualifying design. This covers the production setup and preparation, file handling and order processing, and internal coordination that a smaller production run requires.

Name tags and UV-printed numbered items are excluded, since only the name or number changes between units while the underlying setup stays the same.

Artwork is still included at no additional cost.

Artwork Is Always Free

We want to be very clear about this:

  • Artwork is included with every order

  • There is no minimum quantity required for free artwork

  • Customers are not required to submit a final design

  • Even the smallest orders qualify for full artwork support

Whether you come in with a finished design or just an idea, our team will help bring it to life.

Patch Backings are Included in the Price

All four custom patch types — embroidered, PVC, woven, and sublimated — are available with any of our backing options at no additional charge. Those options are hook-and-loop (Velcro), iron-on, sew-on, or adhesive. Velcro is the most popular and comes standard, and your choice of backing doesn't change the price.

Prefer no backing at all? That's fine too — just tell us when you order or ask your Customer Service Specialist.

Smaller orders are routed through a simplified internal process designed to:
